What do I need to have prepared for you to start designing my website?

To kickstart the design process smoothly, I’ll need a few key ingredients from you:

  • Branding: Your brand’s visual identity, including logos, color schemes, and any brand
    guidelines you have. If you need branding, you can add my Brand identity service and save 10%!
  • Copy: All written content for your website, such as descriptions, headlines, body text, and any other text you want to include.
  • Photos/Illustrations: All high-quality images or illustrations that represent your brand and that you’d like to use on your website.
  • Legal Information: Any necessary legal documents or information, such as privacy policies or terms of service.

Currently, I don’t offer these services myself, but I’m happy to provide
recommendations if needed.

We can also discuss all these things prior to starting our collaboration
in case you need more clarity or direction.

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely! I understand that every business is unique, so I’m happy to offer flexible
payment options tailored to your needs.

50/50 Split: Pay 50% deposit before the first day, with the remaining 50% due on the last day of the project.

Flexible Instalments: Break down payments into 40% deposit before the 1st day, 30% midway through
the project, and the remaining 30% on the last day.

How far in advance should I reach out about working with you?

The sooner, the better! Quality work takes time, so if you foresee needing my services in the future, don’t hesitate to reach out as soon as possible to secure your spot. Booking ahead ensures we have ample time to plan and craft something truly exceptional for your business.

I already have a website, can you just tweak it a bit?

Unfortunately, no.

Imagine asking a chef to adjust a dish they didn’t cook themselves. Each chef has their own unique recipe and cooking style. Similarly, every designer approaches projects differently. Without having built the website myself, making changes would be like trying to cook without the recipe.

However, consider booking a Design Day Rate service if you have a Squarespace/Wix website and want tweaks. I’ll audit your site and create designs in a PDF for you to implement later. While not ideal, it’s an option if money is tight.

Can you design my website if someone else did my branding?

In theory, yes.

I’ll start by assessing your current branding. If it’s comprehensive and aligns with your business vision and strategy, then we’re good to go!

However, if your existing branding fails to capture the essence of your business, I recommend adding a branding service to your project. My goal is to ensure your website not only looks great but also delivers the results you’re after, and I don’t want to waste your money if I know this won’t be possible.

Can’t I just design my brand or website myself and save money?

I get it! DIY can seem like the budget-friendly option upfront, but investing in professional design services can pay off big time for your business in the long run.

Your brand is more than just a logo and some colors; your website is your online storefront. If you’re serious about making an impact and connecting with your audience, you need design strategies that speak directly to them. DIY might not cut it when it comes to driving sales and building trust.

While DIY projects can be fulfilling, they can also take up a lot of your time. Letting me handle your design needs lets you focus on what you do best—running your business.

Can we work together if we're in different time zones?

Absolutely! I’m no stranger to collaborating across time zones with clients from all over the globe. While I’ll be working in my local time zone, we’ll coordinate call times and check-ins during our kick-off call to ensure they align seamlessly with your business needs, no matter where you are.

Which platform will my website be on?

I’ve got you covered! You can choose between WordPress and Shopify, but let’s chat during our kick-off call to determine which one aligns best with your business needs.
